So what can we do to live this phase of our lives more smoothly? Well, it seems most experts think that a healthy lifestyle is the best gift we can give to ourselves. This generally translates into:

- Eating healthy food: a good cardiovascular diet reducing cholesterol like butter, red meat, cream and processed food.. No more transfats! And eat at least 5 rations a day of veggies and fruits. Soy seems to a be a good alternative to fatty dairy products and provides us the important calcium that we need.

- Regular exercise.. Walking with a friend, go swimming, dancing or just cutting the lawn. But don´t overdo it, your body isnt perhaps what it used to be, although our minds defenetly still are !

- Go on regular check-ups

- Avoid smoking and drinking.

- Take things easy. Don´t stress. Do some yoga, mediate or take a time out. Things don´t have to be perfect always.

- Spend quality time with your family and friends.

So basically: live life and love it and you will make this a very cheerful phase of your life!
